DENIMREVOLUTION

Denim Revolution Collection, #denimrevolution, was first presented to Athens Exclusive Designers Week in Athens, 8 November 2019.

I was very happy that day since it was also my birthday.

It was a five garment collection including their leather bags.

The inspitation for this collection came to me several years ago since I saw Ian's Berry Denim Art on instagram.

The faces which Ian makes out of Denim made me think of this whole society dressed by Denim. Denim Faces. Denim People.

The thing was that I didn't remember anything of this, when I had decide to participate to AXDW, but my mind was on Denim allready.

The lines which I used were strict but also curved giving a promice to feminine side.

For me Denim is a tough element, used by hardworking men through industrial revolution of late human history.

Women used it years later to dress their daily life, as women became men through women's proffessional development to the West and not only.

Hard working women of all social classes, are struggling everyday to succeed and have a better future.

They get up early in the morning, dress their children, go to work, take care their home, husbands.... and late at night they put out their favorite old jeans which kept them safe and strong all day.

You see Denim is a strong element.

Over this side of life which I am living also, I started to see Denim with the eyes of my soul.

Late at night as I put out my favorite jeans I used to blow with this move all the stress and thoughts of the day I had passed... I am still doing it.

Through this move as I watched my self throwing my pair of jeans, I was thinking to buy a new pair of a different color this time. So, this was my new inspiration of Denim Color Collection which happend at 2022. You can see it on www.marystasini.com and you can choose your favorite color.

Anyway, as I started to see Denim and notice how people react in their jeans, I started to give extra value to this common material over the years.

I started to see how this material can transform into expensive garments and so I found myself to the right point to the right time designing this first collection.

My goal was first to design Denim with feminine characteristics.

Second to give an extra value to this common fabric and this came out of Patchwork which I love.

And third was to remind to Women that even when we are wearing Denim, we are not hard working Men, 

and we can still enjoy Denim's stability and dynamics with our own way, a New Way,

the Way of Divine Feminine Authority and Principle which leads to Emotions, Love, Caring, Creativity and finally Balance.

Because in this New Age, Women are called to give balance, finally... as Men are called to except their female side.
