DELPHI was the magor oracle of Greece. Delphi is the center of the world and their name shares the same root with the Greek word for womb "δελφύς".
Pythia, the magor oracle, was consulted about important decisions throughout the ancient classical world.
She give her predictions through her mental union with the God of the Sun and Light, Apollo.
At the entrance of Delphi two phrases were written.
"ΓΝΩΘΙ ΣΑΥΤΟΝ"... KNOW THYSELF
"ΜΗΔΕΝ ΑΓΑΝ"... NOTHING IN EXCESS
The Symbol is called DELPHIKO EPSILON and it is an initiation symbol.
